OCD is taking over me

I have OCD since my college days. I keep washing my hands, wiping surfaces and dusting most of the time. I am carrying sanitizer with me whereven I go. It's not only the cleanliness part I have a habit of checking and rechecking. I keep checking whether I have locked the door or the car, whether I have switched off the lights before leaving the house, whether I have turned of the stove and and microwave. I also keep checking the taps to see if water is leaking. Vaccuming the house twice a day. I don't know why but as days are passing by OCD is taking over me. Even though I try not be mindful everything around me but I still tend to repeat the same actions over and over again.
